Where My Coaching Comes From:
Storytelling as a Tool for Coach Development
Friday, November 14
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Elliott Davis LLC, Columbia, SC
Coaching is rooted in story. Every coach carries experiences, turning points, teachers, and moments of truth that shape how they listen, what they notice, and how they support others. In this hands-on session, participants will explore their personal coaching origin story and learn how narrative awareness strengthens coaching presence, confidence, and adaptability. Using a guided reflection activity, coaches will trace the influences, lessons, successes, and stumbles that formed their coaching identity. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of their coaching lens, greater appreciation for the wisdom in their own journey, and practical ways to use storytelling to deepen client connection and accelerate insight in coaching conversations.
